Ants, ants everywhere! Ants are the most common insect invader of our homes.

Are Carpenter ants chewing up your house? Carpenter ants are the most destructive insect pests in Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley. If you have “big black ants” inside in the spring, or “big black flying ants” inside in the spring, you probably have a carpenter ant problem. There are of course many other sizes and colours of carpenter ants as well, but these two descriptions are the most common scenario. And of course we have a multi step program with lots of follow up to ensure we eliminate them and then prevent them from bothering you again.

Flying ants? All ant species have a winged form, and if the flying ants are emerging inside your house it means there is at least one nest inside. We can help figure out which ant species it is and eliminate them for good.

Pharaoh ants in your kitchen? These are tiny yellow ants which are very common in apartments all over the world including here in Metro Vancouver. This ant is also unique in that it is active indoors all year and is actually seen more in the fall and winter months. We know how to get rid of pharaoh ants quickly and for good.

Fire ants in the yard? Fire ant bites can be painful, especially for kids, pets and the elderly. Fire ants are an invasive species that is fairly new to Canada and their control can be quite involved. Fortunately we have a program for effective long term fire ant control.
